Lindsey Johnson

Lindsey’s career began in education as an elementary and middle school teacher, where she developed a deep understanding of the challenges children and adolescents face. Transitioning to a role as a school counselor, she gained firsthand experience supporting students and their families through emotional and developmental challenges.

Be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle.

I'm inspired by

People that devote their lives to animal rescues.

Over the years, Lindsey has gained an avid understanding of addressing grief and trauma, anxiety and depression, identity exploration, and navigating life transitions. She is particularly passionate about supporting women through issues related to reproductive mental health, such as infertility, postpartum challenges, and hormonal transitions. Her diverse background allows her to provide compassionate and effective care for individuals at various stages of life, tailoring her approach to meet the unique needs of each client. Lindsey also uses EMDR as an effective therapy to heal from traumatic wounds.

Grounded in an attachment-focused and client-centered philosophy, Lindsey emphasizes the importance of building a safe and trusting therapeutic relationship. She integrates parts work into her practice, helping clients explore and harmonize different aspects of themselves to foster healing and growth. Utilizing a compassionate yet direct style, she creates a space where clients feel supported while being gently challenged to overcome obstacles and embrace change.

What my dog would say about me

She’s full of love, a little overprotective, and she finds me too cute to train properly. Also, she gives the best belly rubs and talks to me like I’m her furry kid!

The one thing I wish everybody knew

I wish everyone knew that it’s okay to ask for help and that needing support doesn’t mean you’re weak. In fact, it’s one of the bravest things you can do.

Lindsey believes that therapy is a collaborative journey and is committed to walking alongside her clients as they navigate their paths to healing. Whether helping someone process deep grief, manage anxiety, or rediscover their identity during a life transition, her goal is to empower individuals to find resilience, clarity, and hope. Outside of her practice, she remains dedicated to ongoing learning and personal growth, ensuring she brings the latest insights and techniques to her work with clients.
